After experiences at Jil Sander, Kenzo, and Courreges, Anne Isabella launched her eponymous brand in 2020, which focuses on handmade clothing, shoes, and accessories.

Drawing from the world of vintage, her designs convey a sense of nostalgia and modern luxury through playful prints, intricate details, and tailored cuts. Each piece is handmade in an environmentally and socially responsible manner and crafted by balancing boldness and wearability in the designs.

Anne Isabella is now in her fifth collection, inspired by the work of Julio Le Parc and Francisco Sobrino, pioneers in the art world whose work features geometric shapes and three-dimensional constructions that play with reflections, light and transparency.

Games of repetition and optical illusions are constant points of reference for Anne Isabella, as is the realization that some things require a second look, and that appearances should never be trusted. For SS23, Anne Isabella guides the eye with body-drawing silhouettes, psychedelic graphics and deconstructed knitwear, without sacrificing notes of subtle femininity.

Nostalgia remains an ever-present thread in her work, as do references from the era of space exploration, which are shown through kaleidoscopic knitwear, while a set of skirts that meets the past and the future plays with shadows and repetition games.

A true play of movements, virtuosity, shapes and graphics chasing each other, Anne Isabella is a designer not to be missed and to devote more than a passing glance to.
