Hello girls!
Here we are again with fabrics. Let’s continue our exploration of the most popular fabrics used in fashion.

It’s a fabric that mixes weaves and ruffles, thus creating a lot of volume.

FOILED
It’s a fabric that contains small synthetic, sparkling “foils”. Mostly used with silver and gold colors.

MATELASSE’
It has a quilted effect, with the stitches creating a padded effect. It is often preferred for sport apparel.

MIKADO
It has Japanese origins and it’s rigid, shiny and precious.

MOIRE
It’s a mono-chromatic fabric, whose surface creates a wavy effect (that reminds of the pattern of marble stones) and it’s often used to line the purses and wallets.

ORGANZA
A light, transparent silk with a pearly shine and a semi-rigid texture. Mostly used for wedding dresses.

MUSLIN
A compact and resistant cotton.

PLUMETIS
A tulle with small embroidered polka dots, perfect for veils and for the details of wedding dresses.
