MILANO FASHION WEEK 2022

The lights are turned on over the city of Milan and the curtain opens on Milan Fashion Week from 22 to 28 February 2022, dedicated to women’s fashion for autumn/winter 2022/23.

Numerous events and fashion shows will occupy the Milanese calendar, most of which will see the brands return in presence. There will be a total of 190 appointments, of which 166 physical (with 60 catwalk shows) and 24 digital.

What’s new in this MFW edition? In addition to the giants of the fashion industry such as Bottega Veneta, Diesel, Gucci and Trussardi, there will also be 10 new brands that will have the opportunity to ride the wave of the great Milanese event to present their new collections. The new entries are Palm Angels, Tokyo James, Cormo, Ferrari, Hans Kjobenhavn, Ambush, Andreadamo, Aniye Records, Onitsuka Tiger and AC9. Among the debuts is Marco Rambaldi, who will be supported by the Maison Valentino, whose platform will host the designer’s collection on 23 February at 12 noon.

In addition, the Fashion Hub will be moved from its historical location at Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Via Turati to the ADIDesign Museum, a space that hosts the excellence of Italian design. On a digital level, instead, the National Chamber of Fashion will offer the possibility to follow the events on milanofashionweek.cameramoda.it to observe all the contents of the fashion week.

But what are the other events that occupy Milan Fashion Week?
In addition to the exclusive catwalks and shows of the many fashion houses, Milan also hosts the WHITE Show, the international event that works with the B2B sector to offer buyers a real showcase of emerging brands and designers from all over the world. From 24 to 27 February the fair will take place in via Tortona 27 (Superstudio Più), 54 (BASE Milano), 56 (MUDEC Meseum) and 58 (Padiglione Visconti). The Mudec Museum will present the event “Beyond the norm. White Milano & System Preferences present a hybrid of fashion, lifestyle, exhibition and art performances” with brands and phygital events.
It is also possible to try a real shopping experience!

In a historical period that is increasingly instagrammable, with eyes on the most intriguing feeds, Jacquemus responds with the opening of an exclusive pop-up-store in Milan, right during the MFW woman. From 25th February at 9am to Sunday 27th at midnight, the French designer will give the opportunity to buy his products in a “temporary” shop open 24/24. The real novelty? No cashier at the entrance, just a self-service checkout inside an Instagram-friendly boutique. A real shopping experience with which the designer combines exclusivity and fashion.

So, are you ready to experience a fashionable Milan, full of events and with a more international air than ever?
Milan Fashion Week is waiting for you!
