SWIMWEAR: 7 MOST BELOVED MODELS FOR THIS SUMMER!
It’s August and it’s the right time to list the most popular swimwear models of summer 2020!
…are you ready?
Last year’s was that of fluo swimwear, this summer the trend is the opposite: pastel nuances are ruling the beaches. Not really the best choice for the beginning of the season but perfect once you get really tanned!
It didn’t seem to last in 2019 but here it is in 2020, back in full trend!
Several brands presented swimwear collections with huge ribbons to tie behind the neck or on the shoulder. Other opted for the more classic model to tie in the front.
’80s STYLE BIKINI
The past decade brought back the Pin Up/50s style bikini, while summer 2020 seems to have dug out the 80s style ones: high-waisted and with a very high leg cut, like Pamela Anderson’s in Baywatch or Jane Fonda’s.

ROUCHES AND VOLANT
Trendy in 2019, too, but if you still haven’t had enough of dresses full of ruches and Victorian-inspired shirts, they are popular even on swimwear.
On straps or on slips or all over the costume, you can find this trend declined in all possible ways.
Among the coolest prints, animalier is always daring and extremely popular. Snakes, tigers, leopard and zebras… open the cages! Let the animals go!
TOP OR BRA?
Versatility is very appreciated in items of clothing, and this goes for swimwear, too. Brands started to create swimwear that can be worn as clothes as well. Be it a bikini or a swimsuit, these models have some kind of sleeves, so it is enough to add a pair of shorts or a skirt to create a nice outfit for a lunch or a cocktail on the beach.
If lace-up boots ruled the winter season, their summer counterpart are swimming costumes with strings. Simple but very sexy models that enhance the abdomen.
